The Fatima Prayer of Petition
(To be said before the beginning of your Rosary
when saying a Novena)

Queen of the Holy Rosary you have deigned to come to Fatima to reveal to the three shepherd children the treasurers of grace hidden in the Rosary. Inspire my heart with a sincere love of this devotion, in order that by meditating upon the mysteries contained therein, I may be enriched with its fruit, obtain peace for the world, the conversion of sinners and of Russia, and the favor which I ask of you in this Rosary (here make your petition). I ask this for the greater glory of God, for your own honor, and for the good of all souls especially my own. Amen.

  1. Say the Apostle's Creed on the Crucifix.
  2. Say the Our Father on the first bead.
  3. Say three Hail Marys on the next three beads, meditating on the three theological virtues: Faith, Hope and Charity.
  4. Say the Glory Be on the link or chain after the three Hail Marys.
